FREE | 23rd Annual Heartland Artist Exhibition is a national juried show, featuring 71 artists from 8 different states. Opening Saturday March 2 from 5-7pm at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery. Live music, food and drinks.
Each year the Tim Murphy Art Gallery sends out a National Call for Artists to participate in the Heartland Artist Exhibition. Over $3,300 on prize money is awarded to the top six entries. This year, over 91 artists submitted 260 works. The top 117 works are on display at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery, located on the third floor of the Irene B. French Community Center - 5701 Merriam Drive, Merriam, KS 66203.
Our opening night reception is Saturday March from 5-7pm featuring live music by Dan Bliss and the awards ceremony is scheduled for 6:30pm.
The Heartland will be on display from March 2- March 30. Gallery hours are Mon-Thurs - 8:00am-9:00pm, Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm.
