Strauss' Die Fledermaus

Presented by UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance at White Recital Hall

Strauss based his operetta Die Fledermaus (the bat) on a popular French vaudeville comedy. It's a lighthearted story of a ball, prison and a practical joke spinning out of control. Directed by Doug Jones and William Saetre, conducted by Michelle Alexander.
