April 30th, International Jazz Day was established in 2012 by the United Nations and is the capstone global celebration day for Jazz Appreciation Month. Pablo Sanhueza will present an exclusive all-ages concert that will showcase the Latin-Side of jazz from the early 20th Century to today. Sanhueza will also feature the music of Kansas City’s jazz lesser-known musicians, with special guests of honor from the jazz community.

Sanhueza's multi-cultural, inter-generational approach to presenting Salsa & Latin Jazz throughout the Midwest in the past 20 years is the embodiment of this story." Proceeds from the event will go toward the ever-expanding programming of the Kansas City Latin Jazz Orchestra.
