1968: A Folsom Redemption

1968: A Folsom Redemption

Presented by Mid-America Arts Alliance at Mid-America Arts Alliance

This candid and personal photography exhibition covers a critical juncture in the career of Johnny Cash, one of the twentieth century’s most beloved performers. 1968: A Folsom Redemption is a collection of photographs and memories of two journalists, Dan Poush and Gene Beley, lucky enough to be among a handful of eyewitnesses to the historic Johnny Cash concerts at Folsom Prison.

Visit Mid-America Arts Alliance for photographs and intimate stories from Beley and Poush, on view May 3 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in M-AAA’s Culture Lab, as well as the downstairs convening space. Gallery hours for First Friday and by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please contact communications (at) maaa.org
