BANJO & JEWELRY WITH TERI QUINN

BANJO & JEWELRY WITH TERI QUINN

Presented by Olathe Public Library at Indian Creek Library

Quinn is currently the lead singer for Abandoned Bells and played for five years with the local band, Claire and the Crowded Stage. She graduated from the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance with a degree in clarinet performance and music composition. She picked up a banjo after hearing the Old Crow Medicine Show on a Prairie Home Companion episode.

In addition to her musical performance, Quinn will also exhibit some of her jewelry. She describes her work as "intuitive-based creations with nature's curiosities. I take natural objects such as found bones and stones to create one-of-a-kind statement pieces."
