The City of Lee’s Summit Cultural Arts Division is hosting a multi-artist exhibit featuring regional juried members from Best of Missouri Hands. The exhibit showcases a dynamic range of 2D and 3D artworks including glass sculptures, fine art jewelry, photography, metalsmithing and woodworking as well as oil and acrylic paintings.
Headquartered in Columbia, Missouri, Best of Missouri Hands (BOMH) is a statewide association dedicated to the advancement and recognition of visual artists and artisans. Featured artists include Lisa Brooke (Painting), Keith Davenport (Wildlife Photography), Kirk Decker (Film Photography), Erlene Flowers (Painting & Jewelry), Teresa Killion (Pottery), Chester Lux (Aluminum Casting), John Mills (Mixed Media & Woodworking), Linda Schwermer (Jewelry), Julie Sieving (Painting & Pottery), Wanda Tyner (Glass Fusion), Annie Webster (Fiber Art), Kevin Williamson (Woodworking), Darla Zook (Painting)
On public display at Lee’s Summit City Hall during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Join the closing artist reception May 24, 5:30-7:00 p.m. during the Downtown Lee’s Summit Fourth Friday’s Art Walk.
