This exhibit at Leedy-Voulkos Art Center, 2012 Baltimore, Kansas City, Mo., in the Crossroads Arts District features work by 13 Kansas City-area fiber artists. Materials include animal and plant fibers, found objects, beads, wire and others. Fabrication techniques include stitching, embroidery, textile design, crochet, knitting, sewing, braiding, interlacing, quilting, spinning, felting, weaving, surface design, tatting, lace making, knotting, netting, macramé, dyeing, and assemblage. Participating artists include Dora Agbas, Valerie Doran Bashaw, Mary Hamam Elmusa, Susan Ferguson, Liz Halsted, Linda Jurkiewicz, Jackie Keirnan-Hale, Barrie Mason, Jan Rowan Miller, Betsy Knabe Roe, Judy Santner, Becky Stevens and Annie Webster.
