Aristo Sham, Pianist in Recital

Aristo Sham, Pianist in Recital

Presented by Harriman-Jewell Series at The Folly Theater

Aristo Sham is probably one of the finest pianists you’ve never heard of. Sham began playing the piano at three and entered the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts at six. At the age of 12, he was featured in the documentary The World’s Greatest Musical Prodigies. Now 22, Sham has already performed with the world’s greatest orchestras.

Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto is a fearsome work for the most seasoned virtuoso. But not for Aristo Sham, who recently pulled it off with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Simon Rattle. Audiences around the world are starting to discover Aristo Sham and now you can, too.
