This exhibition series features emerging or underrepresented artists from the states and countries in which NMWA has outreach committees. From illustrative to sculptural, this year’s exhibition explores paper as an artistic medium and features works by Fuko Ito, Desiree Morales, Hyeyoung Shin, and Emily Wilker, whose distinct use and interpretation of paper demonstrate unique routes in the methods and materials taken by each artist.
