Despite ominous premonitions, young Lucia stokes the fire of a forbidden love with her brother’s greatest political enemy. But with her once-wealthy family balanced on the brink of bankruptcy, she is forced to do her familial duty and marry the head of a rival family. Convinced by her ambitious brother that her true love has been unfaithful, she signs the marriage contract. When her former flame finds out, he flips out.
With tragedy rivaling Romeo and Juliet, and violence reminiscent of Psycho, a day that began with a wedding march now ends with a funeral procession. And a little club soda will NOT get this out.

An experience at the Kauffman Center begins the moment you arrive, with a convenient, well-lit parking garage, owned and operated by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. The garage is directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building with multiple access points to surrounding streets.
Garage parking passes and valet parking passes are available in advance for most events. Please note that if the garage is full patrons without a pre-paid pass will not be able to park in the Arts District Garage.
