Director Mickey Lemle’s 2017 documentary, The Last Dalai Lama? explores the complex life and influence of the exiled religious leader. The film focuses on the Dalai Lama’s assertion that Tibetan Buddhist practices can be learned by anyone and be proven scientifically to help overcome afflictive emotions. Not rated. 90 minutes.
