Turning the Page | Multiple July Dates & Times | Todd Bolender Center | “Turning the Page” is an original dance performance that depicts the story of a lonely young girl’s adventures through books to find her courage!
Inspired by the 1994 live-action animated film "The Pagemaster," "Turning the Page" depicts the story of a lonely young girl, Ricki, who after being tormented by bullies, escapes for solace in the public library. She finds herself in a world where books come to life and lead her through a series of precarious adventures! In the end, Ricki must gather her courage and stand up to her tormentors using the knowledge she has gained on her journey. Each show we will collect donations (school supplies, clothing, etc.) for Cornerstones of Care, a local foster care agency. This original full-length production was created and choreographed by Krystal Bryan.
