In collaboration with InterUrban Arthouse’s Sherri Jacobs, 21c will host an interactive art making workshop that incorporates themes of the current 21c exhibition OFF-SPRING: New Generations.
Using familiar objects in unfamiliar ways, participants will have an opportunity to explore their own creativity. This open studio format will offer non-threatening and easy to execute art activities, such as embroidering stationary, creating a tiny portrait in a matchbox and creating personalized trading cards.
Sherri Jacobs, MS, LCMFT, MA, ATR is a registered art therapist, licensed clinical marriage and family therapist, and mediator in Kansas City. She is the founder of Heartland Art Therapy, and works with people of all ages. Sherri is also on the adjunct faculty at Avila University and founder of TEDxOverlandPark.
