Schumann’s Third Symphony, created during one of the happiest periods in his career, captures the simple joys of life from time spent in the Rhineland. Lively and informative pre-show talks are held one hour before most Kansas City Symphony Classical Series performances, except those featuring the Symphony Chorus. A concert ticket is required to attend Concert Comments.
Parking
Pre-purchase parking online or call (816) 471-0400. The cost is $10 per car for the Arts District garage or $18 for valet in advance ($20 cash at performances). Buying in advance guarantees a spot, even if the garage sells out. If the garage is full, those without a pre-paid pass will have to park elsewhere. Additional garage parking is also available at the Webster Garage located at 17th and Wyandotte.
