Rockhurst Theater will open its season with “She Kills Monsters,” with performances scheduled from Oct. 24-26, 30 and 31, and Nov. 1 and 2 in Mabee Theater.
In order to unlock more secrets about her mysterious young sibling, Agnes recruits a “dungeon master” named Chuck to help her understand and grieve Tilly. Chock-full of supermodel elves, dominatrix warrior women, and nasty ogres, Qui Nguyen's She Kills Monsters is a surprisingly sweet tale of friendship, loss, and acceptance.
Mabee Theater is located inside Sedgwick Hall on the Rockhurst University campus. Parking is available in all lots accessed through the University entrance on 54th Street at Troost Avenue, and in the north parking garage at 52nd Street and Troost Avenue.
Free with Rockhurst University ID, $5 for non-Rockhurst students and senior citizens, $10 for all others.
