MacKenzie Mallon returns to discuss the important part the Nelson-Atkins played in the protection of art during World War II, including the six Monuments Men with ties to the Nelson-Atkins, and the museum’s role as a repository for art evacuated from the East and West coasts. This talk is presented in connection with our Discriminating Thieves exhibition.
