Continuing Education at the Kansas City Art Institute presents Woodworking Basics: Hand-Carved Utensils for adult learners.
In this course, students will learn traditional carving methods and hand-carving skills to create wooden utensils of their own design. From drawing to cutting, shaping, sanding and oiling, students start the day with a block of wood and leave with refined utensils. This course welcomes beginners as well as those with some prior woodworking and hand-carving experience.
