Rockhurst student choruses will perform Ceremony of Lessons and Carols, a Rockhurst tradition for more than 25 years. This annual holiday concert traces its origins to King’s College Chapel at the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England, where the first Ceremony of Nine Lessons and Carols was performed on Christmas Eve in 1918.

Biblical readings from the Old and New Testaments relating to the Christmas story are interspersed with musical selections. Readers will represent Rockhurst University constituencies: students, alumni, faculty, staff and administration.
