On Thursday, November 7th from 6-10 in the West Bottoms, the Foundation Event Space is pleased to host ‘Don’t You Blow Your Big Top’, an exhibition of recent oil paintings and drawings by Kansas City artist Michael Schliefke.
This show features over thirty eight new oil paintings centered around the brash volume of discourse in America today. Rodeo clowns, carnivals, matadors and sideshows help recreate the tensions, bravado, excitement and disappointment of today's times.

This one night exhibition of 38 original oil paintings by Kansas City painter Michael Schliefke takes place from 6-10pm at the Foundation Event Space in the West Bottoms. Located next door to the venerable Ship bar, there will be an informal gathering of friends and the public at The Ship after the show ends starting at 10.
