FORCES OF NATURE - A SCULPTURAL COLLECTION - BALANCING COLOR AND LIGHT TO CREATE THE EPHEMERAL TO LAST INDEFINITELY
Award-winning artist Jennifer Walker has completed her collection, “Forces of Nature.” Walker creates 3-Diminsional sculptures using color and light by casting polyester resin, emulating atmospheric phenomena depicting images like sunsets, sunrises, cloud formations and other euphoric natural scenes. Walker’s purposeful quest is to capture and recreate those awe-inspiring, fleeting moments. Representing earth is the base, an integral part of the sculpture which is made of different types of wood including Mahogany, Maple, Curly Maple or Purple Heart. The wood is carefully chosen for its color and movement of grain. The lighting where the illumination resides is housed in the base, representing the horizon.
