Max Berry’s 45 years in the music business have cemented his reputation as one of the most knowledgeable music industry gurus in the Midwest. A highly respected producer, award-winning songwriter, guitarist, bassist and vocalist, Berry’s attention to detail in every aspect of a project and his refined production techniques have been honed from years of experience in and out of the studio.

After devoting much of his career to playing around the country with some of the finest musicians to come out of the Kansas City area, including Oleta Adams, Ida McBeth, Max Groove, and High Vibe, he continues to be one of the most in-demand guitarists on the Kansas City music scene. He now fronts the Max Berry Band with Paul Roberts (keyboards), Rick Yord (bass) and Thomas “Freight Train” Walker (drums), playing an eclectic mix of jazz and blues.
