The Olathe Community Orchestra spotlights the talents of several of its own members. Featured members include Ben Katzara, viola -- Suite Hebraique by Ernest Bloch; Emily Smith, flute, and Markus Merrill, oboe -- Concerto for Flute & Oboe by Antonio Salieri; Will Biggs, trombone -- Concertino for Trombone by Ferdinand David; and the OCO horn section -- Konzertstuck for Four Horns by Robert Schumann. Rounding out the program: Original pieces by OCO members Gavin Lendt and Reni Karanevich, and Festive Overture by Dmitri Shostakovich. Admission is free; reception at intermission.

The concert takes place in the Celebration Center, which is wheel chair accessible. Patrons may enter through the main entrance (plenty of accessible parking spaces, plus the sidewalk to the door is accessible). The Celebration Center is directly opposite the entry doors.
