“One Thread at a Time: Debbie Barrett-Jones” runs February 7 – April 3, 2020 at The Box Gallery, 1000 Walnut Street in Downtown KC.
Titled, “One Thread at a Time”, this exhibit features woven work and prints by Kansas City artist Debbie Barrett-Jones. Join us for an artist reception on First Friday afternoon, Feb. 7th from 11:30-1:00. In addition, an “Artist Talk and Pop-up Shop” will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27th from 11:30-1:00pm.
Identified as a “Woman to Watch” by the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in 2017, Barrett-Jones continues to make a name for herself since graduating from the Kansas City Art Institute. Working on her loom, careful consideration goes into color, composition and material in each of her weavings.

Free parking validation is available for all visitors to The Box Gallery. Please park in the Commerce Bank Building Parking Garage at 1025 Main Street. Once parked, enter the main building on the 2nd floor. Bring your parking ticket in and request a validation sticker at the Security office window located at the west end of the Arcade.
