Theatre in the Park (TIP) is currently seeking actors, singers and dancers ages six and up for our 2020 OUTDOOR SUMMER productions of Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, All Shook Up, Big River, Newies and Mamma Mia!. TIP is a non-equity, community theatre and is committed to a non-discrimination, flexible, imaginative casting policy and strives to be culturally conscious as it pertains to social and historical content. No prior theatre experience is needed to audition for TIP and performers of ALL shapes, ALL sizes, ALL voice types and ALL ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to audition!
General Auditions will take place on Saturday, February 22 from 9am-4pm and Sunday, February 23 from 12pm to 5pm at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center, 8788 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66212.
Auditioners will be required to sing 16 bars of a song of their choice from any musical not included in the season. The dance portion of the general auditions is optional, but it is highly recommend that all auditioners participate regardless of dance experience. Invited callbacks will take place Wednesday, February 26 through Sunday, March 1. Auditioners must sign up for an audition slot online at https://theatreinthepark.org/outdoor-audition-info.

Parking for our disabled patrons at TTIP's OUTDOOR amphitheater is located directly adjacent to gate #3 next to our reserved parking. Anyone with an appropriate plaque will be admitted to park in disabled parking free of charge, of course!
