Cubanisms' music is a fusion mixing the Cuban Tres with some sparkles of Salsa, Jazz, Mexican, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban rhythms, reflecting the richness that comes from the experience of its members and its Anglo-Saxon, Mexican and Brazilian roots; its diversity is also found in its repertoire where 3 languages are included: Spanish, Portuguese and English. Cubanisms debut album "Acento Cubano" (Cuban Accent), has received great acceptance and fantastic comments from the USA, Colombia, and Cuba, also opening the doors to the group in 2019 to participate in the most important Music Festival on the Cuban island the “Jazz Plaza International Festival”. Cubanisms has received 3 nominations in 2018, by The Pitch and KC community: Best Local Band, Best musician (Michael McClintock) and Best Vocalist (Fedra Cooper)
