Advocacy Workshop

Advocacy Workshop

Presented by ArtsKC – Regional Arts Council at Black Archives Of Mid-America

Rescheduled Event!

Because so many arts organizations rely on government funding to keep their doors open, it's necessary for artists and organizational leaders to engage with elected officials on a regular basis. ArtsKC is proud to partner with area experts and officials to produce a program to help facilitate this conversation.

Workshop | 2:00 - 4:00 PM

Tickets are free, but registration is required for headcount.

Event Registration Includes:

A two-part workshop: the importance of lobbying and how to educate your federal, state, and local elected officials.
A discount code to join the Kansas City Contingency to Citizens' Day for the Arts in Jefferson City!
Please email advocacy@artskc.org if you are unable to attend after registering.

There is ample parking behind the Black Archives building.
