kNEW: Poet T.L. Sanders will transport you on a lyrical journey like you’ve never experienced. Sanders shares an original story of one September open mic night at the Blue Room on 18th & Vine. A night where a grown son mourns his prodigal father and something new emerges in the hearts of those willing to speak the truth. Rated PG LET ME EXPLAIN MY BLACKNESS: Addressing Black Women’s Thoughts Through Comedy. Various comedy sketches about black women’s growth thru pain and humor. So relax and laugh with us. Rated PG #BlackGirlMagic These two shows are a fantastic way to get a taste of what to expect of the 2020 Kansas City Fringe Festival. Poet T.L. Sanders will be facilitating a post-show talk with both productions after each show.
