POSTPONED Musica Vocale presents Bad Decisions: Music Reflecting Moral Questions

For our concert BAD DECISIONS, we return to Sacred Heart – Guadalupe Catholic Church on the West Side. The Kansas City Baroque Consortium and soloists join Musica Vocale for cantatas by Giacomo Carissimi and J. S. Bach, in the story of the Old Testament character Jephte, and of mythic Hercules (BWV 213). Composer Melissa Dunphy returns for her two movement work Listen, with texts by Anita Hill and Christine Blasey Ford from their testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee. This is a free concert for the community! Donations welcome.
