Black Folk is a duo comprised of Debbie Cole (violin, acoustic guitar, vocals and percussion) and Charlie Harris (basses, guitars, percussion and vocals).  Individually, Debbie and Charlie have performed in classical, jazz/fusion, R&B,  rock and pop ensembles over the years.  They met in the fall of 2019 and begin performing together shortly thereafter.  They combine elements of pop, neo-soul, Latin, classical, Celtic and jazz into a unique brand of music that expands the boundaries of what audiences have come to expect in live performances.
