VIRTUAL - LOST & FOUND: Hold On to Me

VIRTUAL - LOST & FOUND: Hold On to Me

Presented by InterUrban ArtHouse and Midwest Trust Center at Johnson County Community College at InterUrban ArtHouse

The InterUrban ArtHouse, in partnership with the Tristian Griffin Dance Company and The Carlsen Center at JCCC presents  LOST&FOUND, a five part interactive dance film that invites you to witness the process of sudden solitude and, through these performances, contemplate how we each live our own versions of the world’s current shared experience.
We and guest host the Carlsen Center at JCCC will Premiere the second film, Hold On to Me, Mon, June 8th, at 7pm, on our FB page at https://www.facebook.com/InterUrbanArtHouse/ , and their page at https://www.facebook.com/CarlsenCenter/ , immediately followed by a talkback with choreographer Tristian Griffin, musician Calvin Arsenia and dancers David Calhoun and Colin Fredrick.
After the film, simply close the watch party to remain on our FB page, and the talkback will begin. Feel free to ask questions via FB Live and the artists will address them during the last 20 min.
As the viewer, you will have the option to explore the 5 different versions and compare your perspectives. Once you click on your choice you will experience the dance film paired with one of 5 different soundtracks by 5 different musicians.  One version of the film may give you a sense calmness, while another version might energize you and make you want to dance yourself.  In other words, you see the same experience differently according to what you hear.
