VIRTUAL- Light Up The Lawn featuring Calvin Arsenia

Presented by Midwest Trust Center at Johnson County Community College and Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art at Carlsen Center at Johnson County Community College

Arsenia’s angelic, classically trained voice soars over audiences, beckoning them to join as he crafts the perfect moment. Voted Kansas City’s Best Musician in 2018 and 2019 in The Pitch, and featured on Billboard, NPR.org, NEWNOWNEXT, Pride.com, and GRAMMY.com, singer and harpist Calvin Arsenia has built a reputation for turning the arts world on its head. Arsenia’s music is just part of his performance. He believes the art comes from crafting the perfect moment. His music is best-served live, with sensational performances and high fashion from the visually striking 6-foot-6 performer. His goal is to build a scene for his audience and himself that is packed with beauty and lasting delight. Arsenia’s height, energy and curated environments fill the spaces in which he performs. Over the last decade, Arsenia has taken his music into nine countries through public and private grants.Presented in partnership with Carlsen Center Presents and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.
