Archie Scott Gobber currently lives and works in Kansas City, Missouri. Viewers appreciate his vivid and arresting works that play with words and text to deliver political and social commentary. Gobber received the Charlotte Street Foundation’s Studio Recipients program. For his Nelson-Atkins residency, Gobber has developed a project that highlights the museum’s collections through Pop-inspired “headlines” that disrupt traditional information delivery in a thought-provoking way.
