Virtual Third Thursday Visiting Director | Amy Kligman, Executive/Artistic Director of the Charlotte Street Foundation | October 15, 3:30-4:30 pm | ONLINE via zoom webinar | Free and open to the public, registration required to receive link
Executive/Artistic Director of the Charlotte Street Foundation Amy Kligman will speak on October 15 3:30-4:30 pm. Charlotte Street envisions Kansas City as a dynamic home for artists of various career stages and disciplines to thrive, while serving as natural catalysts for an exciting and culturally rich city. Kligman will showcase their new building and what steps CSF has taken to support artists during the Covid-19 pandemic, including the Rocket Relief emergency grant program, which Charlotte Street has developed in collaboration with the Spencer Museum of Art, and ArtsKC. “It’s a time of constant recalibration,” Kligman says, “but I have faith in artists to not just survive this moment, but envision a better future and help build it.” Join moderator Emily Behrmann, Artistic Director of JCCC's Performing Arts, for an engaging program.
