Join the ACJC as we chat with Godfrey Riddle, the Director of Resource Development at ArtsKC. Godfrey is a creative social entrepreneur with specializations in fundraising, program development, and nonprofit administration. He previously worked with Rightfully Sewn and Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey. Godfrey is driven to build inspiring communities where people reach their full potential. As such, he founded ArtsKC’s Arts Leadership Series to cultivate diverse arts nonprofit leaders. He is an alumnus of AmeriCorps VISTA and CORO KC and serves on the board for BlaqOut, a grassroots initiative to end HIV/AIDS in Kansas City’s Black queer community. In 2017, Godfrey was honored as one of INK Magazine’s “30 Under 30” for his career and community involvement. In October 2020, he launched Civic Saint (CivicSaint.com), a purposeful lifestyle company with a mission to create beautiful, meaningful objects while advancing racial and social justice.
