2021 ArtsKC Advocacy Workshop Friday, January 29 at 3PM Zoom – Learn about how you can become a fierce arts advocate, the legislative priorities for the arts in the MO legislature, and hear directly from those who represent our region.
The event is open to the public, but registration is required.
Every year the Missouri legislature considers many different bills and pieces of legislation that could have a direct impact on our arts community, and 2021 is already gearing up to be no exception. Not only will legislation impacting the arts be considered, but bills including relief spending, housing, jobs, and tax will make their way to the Governor’s desk, as well.
Join ArtsKC and Missouri Citizens for the Arts on Friday, January 29, at 3PM, to hear about the most important pieces of legislation being considered, how you can help ensure the voice of the arts is being heard, and hear directly from the legislators involved in the process.

The goal of this session is to prepare our arts advocates to use their skills and knowledge at Citizens’ Day for the Arts on February 3, 2021. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year will be an all-virtual experience, but will be just as necessary and impactful as every year.
