Jason Arthur, Ph.D., Rockhurst University associate professor of English, will lead a live book discussion of Jesmyn Ward's novel, Sing, Unburied, Sing (2017). Ward's novel, which won the 2017 National Book Award for fiction, is a multigenerational family saga about addiction, mass incarceration, and the ghosts of racist violence in Amercia. This online event is presented in partnership with Rockhurst University Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
