Her Art / Their Art: Intersexions and Identities

Presented by InterUrban ArtHouse at InterUrban ArtHouse

Presented by the UMKC Women’s Center and InterUrban ArtHouse as part of the ongoing Her Art Project, this show will be viewable online and in person by masked appointment only.

The purpose of this show is to illustrate and celebrate the unique experiences and challenges female-identifying and non-binary femme artists face in America, as they bring together family, careers, activism, and artistic fulfillment.
What does it mean to identify, live, navigate, or be perceived by society as Womxn in 21st century America?
The exhibition opens Friday, March 19th, physically and online, and runs through April 16th.
In person viewing is by appointment only, Friday, 3/19, 10am – 8pm, and Saturday, 3/20, 11am – 3pm. Groups of up to 10 can sign up for a 45min time slot online.
