Urban Bucket Brigade Workshop with Jaisson Taylor

Urban Bucket Brigade Workshop with Jaisson Taylor

Presented by Kansas City Young Audiences at Kansas City Young Audiences

Bring the family for a fun outdoor drumming workshop! Jaisson Taylor brings this interactive and fun drumming workshop from the streets to your students. Using recycled buckets and a rhythm, students will learn about the role of music in various cultures and how those cultures influence what you hear in the music of the streets today.
This FREE outdoor in person event will follow social distancing protocols and masks wills be required.
Because the workshop will take place in our parking lot, we will have limited parking spaces available. Guests may park across the street at the vacant Midwest Title Loan lot. (please cross Main St at the crossing light just north of our building, near the Whole Person.)
In case of inclement weather, we will move the workshop inside to our big auditorium, however only student participants will be allowed to enter, due to covid-19 protocols.
