feeld songs Sunday, May 30 at 2:30 PM St. James Catholic Church, Liberty KC VITAs returns to in-person performances with the world premiere of “feeld songs,” a ten-song cycle for choir and harp by New York composer Michael Genese.
Join us as we celebrate our return to in-person performances with the world premiere of "feeld songs," a ten-song cycle for choir and harp by New York composer Michael Genese. This moving work sets text from Jos Charles’ revolutionary poetic volume “feeld” which uses Middle English to reckon with how, especially for trans and queer people, the world (‘feeld’) is often rendered indescribable with the conventional rhetoric we have at our disposal.
Tickets will be available at the door $10 for adults, FREE for students with ID.
