feeld songs

Presented by KC VITAs at St. James Catholic Church

Join us as we celebrate our return to in-person performances with the world premiere of "feeld songs," a ten-song cycle for choir and harp by New York composer Michael Genese. This moving work sets text from Jos Charles’ revolutionary poetic volume “feeld” which uses Middle English to reckon with how, especially for trans and queer people, the world (‘feeld’) is often rendered indescribable with the conventional rhetoric we have at our disposal.

Tickets will be available at the door $10 for adults, FREE for students with ID.

Visit kcvitas.org for more information on 'feeld songs,' upcoming events, and our Covid safety policies. KC VITAs is proud to be a Missouri Arts Safe Certified organization.
