The Sarah Play puts stories of the biblical matriarch Sarah in conversation with contemporary realities in Kansas City.
The Sarah Play puts stories of the biblical matriarch Sarah in conversation with contemporary realities in Kansas City. Created by The In[heir]itance Project as part of a national series, the play was devised during material-generating workshops with local clergy, artists, community members and interfaith groups. The result is a production that reflects distinctly local perspectives on sacred texts which point to the complexity of Sarah's narrative and its relevance in our world today.
The Sarah Play is made possible by generous funding from the Covenant Foundation.
