We are proud to self-organize and present La Onda: Latin-XExcellence. La Onda presents the rich and varied contributions ofLatino artist in Kansas City. Drawing on a wide variety ofexperiences to shape the current collective identity.
The exhibition draws entirely from Kansas City Artist whoidentify as Latin o/a. It explores how broad the experiences haveshaped each artist and their perspective on the work.
The exhibition presents works in various media by 13 artists. Of25 works in the exhibition selected works will be displayed atdifferent locations during the migration of the exhibition. The bodyof work will adapt and transform for its life from May to November.
