FlamenKcmo will perform as part of the Art in the Loop/KC Streetcar Performance Series on Thursday, August 5, from 5-6:30 pm, in front of the lightwell building, 1100 Main St., near the KC Streetcar Metro, Stop at 12th & Main. FlamenKcmo performs both traditional and cutting edge flamenco with guitarist Beau Bledsoe, singer Antonio Rojas and dancer Melinda Hedgecorth. FlamenKcmo is a flamenco music and dance trio with members from Sevilla, Spain and Kansas City who will present songs and movement about resiliency through love, faith and dedication to happiness. The performance is free and open to the public. Check the event description for the specific streetcar stop where the performance will be held. In the event of inclement weather, the performance will take place inside the lightwell building at 1100 Main Street and masks will be required.
