Jessica Ayala & the Arquesta del SolSoul will perform as part of the Art in the Loop/KC Streetcar Performance Series on Monday, August 16, from 5-6:30 pm, in the City Market, near the KC Streetcar River Market North Stop at 3rd & Walnut. Jessica Ayala is an Indigenous Colombian American Two-Spirit multi- discipline artist. Ayala is a spoken word poet, musician, published author, cultural worker, and former writer-in-residence at Charlotte Street Foundation. The performance is free and open to the public. Check the event description for the specific streetcar stop where the performance will be held. In the event of inclement weather, the performance will take place inside the lightwell building at 1100 Main Street and masks will be required.
