Relics of the Deluge is a solo exhibition featuring ceramic artist Momoko Usami.
Momoko is a storyteller exploring potential worlds.
This is an interactive display in which viewers are invited to engage with each piece in a self-reflective way.
Momoko breeches subjects such as; greed, selfishness, mortality, and life through the natural cycles of existence.
She contemplates our future using symbols of nature to question what will remain if humanity continues in the way we are today.
Momoko Received her BFA and MFA from Kyoto City University of Arts in Kyoto, Japan
She now lives and works near Kansas City. Her work is collected nationally, and internationally.
