Tiffanie Shriner: Platte City's City Hall Artist of the Month Display

Presented by Platte City Friends of the Arts at Platte City City Hall

The Platte City Friends of the Arts Visual Arts Committee and the City of Platte City are sharing the work of local artist Tiffanie Shriner at City Hall during the month of October. The City of Platte City installed an art display system in the lobby of City Hall in order to entertain visitors and showcase area artists while open. Lobby hours are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Tiffanie has always been into art of all kinds. From a very young age she started drawing portraits of people. She has won numerous awards for her art. She paints her images upside down to gain complete accuracy of her real-like paintings. She then ventured out into watercolor painting. She graduated from Park University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Business Marketing, and has worked as a graphic designer for Platte Valley Bank and Central Bank of the Midwest. Recently she decided to leave the banking world to enjoy all things art and to be home taking care of her family. Tiffanie does custom orders for watercolor paintings, graphic design requests, and family photography. Please reach out to her @Trdezines Photography + Design on Facebook or Instagram to purchase her art. The City Hall art display rotates each month featuring a different area artist or groups of artists, including public, private, and home-schooled students. October showcases Tiffanie Shriner.
