La Onda (The Wave) is not without precedent, as the name for this show comes from a Mexican counterculture and avant-garde movement in the seventies; however, this is not the seventies nor is this Mexico. This is midwestern America. Hence, a travelling, migrating exhibit focusing on the works of four Latinx artists who are responding to multiple heritages, juxtapositions of culture and much much more. Come see the works of featured artists Kiki Serna, Chico Sierra, Cesar Lopez and Carlos Ortiz-Gallo.
