"Stanislav & Friends" International Center for Music Gala Concert

On Saturday, March 19, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts will host Stanislav & Friends 2022! This third annual event allows Kansas City audiences to experience the best of classical music while seated in one of the finest symphony halls in the world. Performing the rare Maurice Ravel’s "Bolero for Four Pianos," the concert also features such students and alumni of Park International Center for Music as 2021 American Pianists Awards Winner Kenny Broberg, superstar pianist Behzod Abduraimov, triple gold medal violinist Maria Ioudenitch, and more, it will be a concert you won’t want to miss! The grand finale will bring down the house with event namesake, (2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Gold Medalist) Stanislav Ioudenitch, performing the amazing "Piano Concerto for the Left Hand" with the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra, After the concert, meet our celebrated artists at a dessert reception. What is so special about this concert? Park University International Center for Music produces musicians who become award-winning performers at prestigious international competitions. Park alumni perform as soloists or as part of celebrated orchestras in the greatest concert halls of the world. Their success is due to Park’s unique boutique music program, which provides a close and intensive European style protégé/master training between our internationally renowned instructors and their students. Held in the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, it’s a rare opportunity to experience the music and magnificence of the International Center for Music’s award-winning artists like Behzod Abduraimov, Igor Khukhua, Kenny Broberg, Maria Ioudenitch, and more. Even the grand finale promises to be quite a treat with full orchestra! The featured soloist will be the event’s namesake himself, Van Cliburn Gold Medalist pianist Stanislav Ioudenitch, performing the spectacular Piano Concerto for the Left Hand by Maurice Ravel. Plus you can have your cake and eat it too with your chance to meet all performers in a dessert reception immediately following the performance in Brandmeyer Hall. It is free to all attendees of the concert. This is truly a concert event you don’t want to miss!

An experience at the Kauffman Center begins the moment you arrive, with a convenient, well-lit parking garage, owned and operated by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. The garage is directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building with multiple access points to surrounding streets.

Garage parking passes and valet parking passes are available in advance for most events. Please note that if the garage is full patrons without a pre-paid pass will not be able to park in the Arts District Garage.
