Founded in 1891, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is consistently hailed as one of the greatest orchestras in the world. Performing more than 150 concerts each year, the orchestra’s talented musicians are the driving force behind the famous sound heard on best- selling recordings as well as in performance. Riccardo Muti is one of the world’s preeminent conductors. In 2010, he became the 10th music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Muti’s leadership has been distinguished by the strength of his artistic partnership with the Orchestra and his dedication to performing great works of the past and present. Their concert in Kansas City will feature violinist Julia Fischer performing Schumann’s Violin Concerto as well as Tchaikovsky’s Manfred Symphony.

An experience at the Kauffman Center begins the moment you arrive, with a convenient, well-lit parking garage, owned and operated by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. The garage is directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building with multiple access points to surrounding streets.

Garage parking passes and valet parking passes are available in advance for most events. Please note that if the garage is full patrons without a pre-paid pass will not be able to park in the Arts District Garage.
