Queer Experience Exhibition | Friday, June 17th, 5:00pm – 8:00pm | InterUrban ArtHouse 8001 Newton St, Overland Park, KS 66204 | exhibition with work from local LGBTQ+ artists
This show is for all artists, musicians, and storytellers in the LGBTQIA community to tell their stories and share their experiences with the world. There are many ways to engage with one’s queerness , be it through direct discussion, visual representation, or just by living and observing. Through visual and performance art, music, and spoken word, these artists do just that.
The opening reception is Friday, June 17th, 5-8pm at the InterUrban ArtHouse, 8001 Newton St, Overland Park, KS 66204. Everyone inside and outside of the LGBTQ+ community is welcome to attend.
Social distancing guidelines encouraged for all in person events, we ask that guests establish mutual consent for close contact. Mask wearing respected, especially by anyone not yet vaccinated.Portions of the exhibition were made possible by the Mid America Arts Alliance, the National Endowment for the Arts, ArtsKC, and No Divide KC.
