Color Me Kansas City | October 7th at 6pm | 9th and State | Exhibit Opening Night
Color Me Kansas City highlights the importance of historic preservation and sustainable development through fine arts and public history showcasing. Displaying the talent of local BIPOC artists whose work reflects cultural influences that color our growing city, Color Me Kansas City addresses the necessity of historic preservation efforts as our city undergoes massive infrastructural changes to accommodate population and shifting ideologies.
Photographic images are contributed by the State Historical Society of Missouri and the Kansas City Public Library. Join us for Opening Night October 7th at 6pm at 9th & State, a popular event space in the West Bottoms District that was ranked as a finalist for Best of Kansas City in November 2021.
